About The Artist

Having worked for many years as a portrait artist, I produce art mostly within the style of photorealism.
I took up painting at the age of 14 and in leaving education 5 years later, decided to look for work as a self-employed portrait artist, incorporating landscapes into my repertoire also.

However as time passed, I began to feel the need to try out other styles as well, reuniting myself with cartoon art(which was so familiar to me as a child) and picking up some of the illustration techniques I learned through art college.

My main influences include the works of Frank Auerbach, Roy Lichtenstein and Diego Velázquez. The genre of Art Nouveau is of great inspiration to me and my artistic development.
Other interests include music (classical and film scoring mostly) and movies (most genres of film with the exception of Romantic Comedy and Slasher Horror...!)
